Vendor Marketing... Do they know what you do ?

How many of you show your vendors what you do?
They know what you buy from them, but do they know how it looks like installed?
I carried some pictures into a few of my vendors and they where floored by my work.
I always assumed they knew the quality of my work.
After showing off my pictures to my vendors, I got two calls from vendor referred leads. So again I ask;
Do your vendors know what you do and the quality of your work?????????????
